On the one hand, I think most parents of a kid that age will have grown up with video games, so making the distinction between types would be more natural.

On the other hand, my kid gets mad when I call his Nintendo 3DS XL (tm) a "game boy", so.

I used to work at a daycare and one of the kids had a Nintendo 2DS and everytime I would call it a 3DS he would get super man and go "IT'S NOT A 3DS IT'S A 2DS THAT CAN PLAY 3DS GAMES" and I did it every chance I got because I'm a bastard.

I worked at a music school when fidget spinners came out and I'd always pretend to not know what they were which shocked the kids

Not true.

He also wanted to draw VIET NAM VETS, semi-anthropomorphic animals, and a big dumb self-insert. Mostly boobs, though.

yeah he was the lead animator/director
He's also the director/storyboard artist on Sonic Mania Adventures (though he hasn't done any animation for it)

Achewood started off good by eventually turned lovely after Onstad started cramming as many banal one-liners as possible into every panel.

Exploration is ill-advised.
Achewood I assume is brutally hilarious if you're a very specific kind of person, ie not quite cool enough for Portland.

Yoshi Wins
Jul 14, 2013

I thought Achewood was very funny during the peak of its popularity. However, for some reason I can't quite explain, I don't think it has aged well. Some of it remains classic, though, like the Cartilage Head story.
