you actually carry 4 spare magazines?

Well, yes and no... just like I don't carry all the knives, watches or other things listed. They are part of my daily selection (hence the word selection in the title). I typically carry both full spare mag holsters in my locked steel briefcase that is always with me or (in certain situations) 1 of the 2 mag holsters if they can be adequately concealed by whatever coat I wear that day. No coat or adequate concealment = locked briefcase carry until I am at home or work. However, I can be in, locked and loaded in much less time than you'd think. That being after years of methodical practice under pressure. This fits best with my lifestyle and state laws.

What kind of pressure?

Different types, in my wife's business, I have had several instances where I have had to lock and load quickly do to a possible threat. Thankfully, I have never had to use it.

What's interesting about this image is the way the shadows are formed from the figures and (most prominently) the chair - that tells that that light is the only light-source in the room.

Not only does this give a feeling of loneliness to the whole picture, but it also means that there are probably no windows in that room. Either that or they are covered/it's night-time.

Also I just noticed he has a collection of cameras on his shelf, so that means he must know a thing or two about composing a picture. Did he really mean to aim for this kind of shot of loneliness on purpose?

I have actual skeletons in my closet
as a former boy scout, poo poo like flashlights and knives are situational in every day life. like if you can't s.u.r.v.i.v.e. long enough to get to lights or tearable packaging, you are probably in silent hill or doing illegal poo poo you shouldn't be doing anyway. like how far away from civ or a car trunk are you?

and what situation takes more than 1 magazine? either you can't shoot or you are outnumbered. like if I need 30+ rounds daily, i need to move.

Nerds like that one story about Richard Feynman and also fantasise about a pretty lady forgetting the key for her work locker and they help her then she likes them, the helpful computer janitor, rather than being terrified that the knife and gun carrying guy weirdly has lockpicks too.

Better hope this guy never annoys a cop, because this collection has reasonable suspicion written all over it. Like even if all those things are legal individually together they look like you're up to something fucky.

Though I suppose being as white and dweeby as possible is a pretty good shield against ever drawing a cop's attention.
