He's way better than someone like Grealish in every area yet somehow has gone under the radar compared to him

According to Di Marzio the Nainggolan deal involving Santon and Zaniolo, then the subsequent transfer of Pastore to Roma, are all happening. Nainggolan will have his medical tomorrow, Pastore will have his Tuesday, Zaniolo had his with Roma today.

Newcastle are run by morons and Mikel Merino is going to be sold for somewhere around €12m because they allowed that clause when signing him.

Honestly, if United really do go into the season with Valencia and Young as the number one fullback choices, the title challenge is over before it even began. And right now that's not looking impossible...

Relax, there's a world cup on, there's not going to be much going on with transfers while players are concentrating on a tournament.

I'm not exactly convinced we've been negotiating with Fellaini mid tournament either.

Sure, but after the World Cup the window is going to shut awfully quick. I really don't have much faith in Woodward at the best of times, much less now.

29, in good form, going from Southampton to Ajax where he's probably going to make a lot less money and play in a much less competitive league.

He's been bloody good since nailing down a place there under Mourinho after Shaw had inexplicably failed to impress, one of few full backs last season to keep Mo Salah quiet. The problem is both he and Valencia are well into their thirties and aren't good for 40+ games a season anymore, which Valencia really started to show in the last 10 or so games of the season.
