I was surprised folks weren't going harder but I think everyone was just exhausted from being out in the sun all day by that point. Can confirm it slammed. Did you catch ETID's set? It ripped, per usual. EDIT: I missed Harm's Way, so that sucked. XIII fucked around with this message at 22:43 on Jul 2, 2018 |

I talked to my good old buddies from Boston –they're called Unearth– and I told them to write a song about friendship and getting together and having a good time with your friends. And this what they come up with. Very exclusionary track called “The Chosen”

Stelio Kontos posted:Do you happen to be talking about Jesse Smith? If so he's a super cool guy and my friend produced his new band's latest record. They're called Jesse Smith and the Holy Ghost and it's some really solid sludge n roll. Yep, he's a solid guy. He's still pretty active in the local music scene and I've got a lot of mutual friends that have a lot of respect for him, although like I said I don't really know him personally. I actually just helped a couple of the guys from JSatHG out with a music video and some promo stuff for one of their other bands - coincidentally, they're super cool guys too (I'd post it but this is already getting pretty off-topic and their music is nowhere near -core). I don't think this was posted here - second new track from The Agony Scene: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3sFGnZmuncQ Really looking forward to this album

I never heard of or listened to Screams of Erida back in the day, but listening to it now and I know it would have been my poo poo. Unfortunately, hearing stuff this under-produced in this day and age is like getting a boner for a chick in a 70s Playboy. * Speaking of which, their EP Before the Great Collapse isn't on Spotify and I went to listen to it again on YouTube and hooo boy is it a banger. Thanks for taking me on this trip back to the yesteryear of metalcore, Wamsutta. Malaria Playboy posted:Seeing Code Orange, Vein, and Disembodied on Friday. The Agony Scene's new album is floating around.
