That's 5400mm (17.7 feet) in my country. I know that because i've painted them.

I had joke about that at work. Had a guy who said he had a 9 inch dick, but routinely measured things a 100mm short.

If I've seen the movie how much of the show is ruined/given away/redundant?

It branches off in majors ways from the movie, so nothing seems redundant. The characters are so well written and awesome and the casting was perfect.

It’s the happiest i’ve been with a show, any TV show, in a long time.

The starting premise is similar in that it is about a man named James Cole being sent back in time to stop a virus from killing the world and he works with a present day doctor but it pretty quickly goes into its own direction.

As was previously mentioned it does a great job of sticking the landing and having a really satisfying ending.

Why do I remember Luke Cage season 1 being super enjoyable but I'm 5 episodes into season 2 and I'm bored as poo poo by it so far?

Did it change showrunners or something?

I must not see what's hooking them because I could stop watching after the episode I'm on now and not feel like I missed anything of value.

For the record, 5 was about where I started really getting into the season so it's probably just a matter of taste.

Butt first, let's

That's the general consensus with S1. That the first half is great but the second half is a downgrade with some people hating it. But a lot of the people who feel that way feel S2 might start a little slow but follows through very well.

I believe in a universe that doesn't care, and people that do.

I really liked season 2 but it's definitely a bit less "fun" than season 1. For all the dark elements, season 1 was showing Luke making a difference and being cool, and season 2 is kind of about how punching the bad people really doesn't make that much of a difference.

Catching up with The Last OG (on TBS, for future reference) and it had an obvious product placement bit.....for the show Greenleaf on OWN. Don’t think I’ve ever seen product placement for another show, especially one on a different network.

It's almost a perfect season of television. The main kid (Miguel) gets a bit of a short thrift at the end. I don't feel the character change is fully earned - not that it doesn't make sense, it just happens very quickly, and that might be a product of some of the time dilation that happens on the show. Other than that, though, I can't think of anything negative to say, and the very, VERY end of the season is so loving good.

the first 4 episodes are really just laying the very tip of the story out. Time travel is complex.

It's not the movie, at all.

I'd say the second season is when the show is consistently more interesting to watch, but there's some interesting stuff in the first season, and ultimately the entire thing is so thoroughly intertwined that the payoffs either won't make sense or won't matter if you haven't seen the first season. If you want to watch the show, pick up from where you left off, that's my advice.

Eh, I disagree. I heard good things, and actually started to get a bit turned around on the series around episode 3, where I think it picked up. But for all the talk of subversion of expectations, everything in the end played out entirely as I expected. And then, the very end? Frankly, I hated it. The last thing the show needed was a true villain. It undercuts everything I found interesting about it.

Fair, but after seeing how well they essentially handled the long term effects of abuse I'm willing to see how they handle it when they go right to the source.

I'm taking this last season slowly to savor it because i don't want it to end. I'm only at S4E5. And it has been hard to stay away from the show's thread but I'm doing it!

Dunno yet if that is anywhere close to true but the general consensus is that they really nailed the ending.

Breaking Bad's ending wasn't that great IMO. It was serviceable and kind of just gives the audience what they expect/want. I guess it wasn't disappointing.

The ending gave me the opposite of what I want, since it gave Walt everything he wanted and let him end it on his own terms. Bitch shoulda been gunned down by cops or be rotting in jail, that's the ending I wanted from the start.

But at least they didn't Dexter it. It's still a good episode and finale, but it's a tough act to follow up the episode that came before it even if it had a perfect ending imo.
