It's extra funny because DHA is in the process of absorbing all medical commands and surgeons general and a unified set of PT tests is on the menu. That's 5+ years away but still

It's awesome coming back from leave and finding out you have to work through the weekend at the last minute because a particular S3 CPT is awful at his job and didn't publish an order. Now he's publishing a "Frago" for an order that doesn't exist. I dug through the BDE orders distro in my email, theyve had the BDE order for 3 months. 15 days off and coming back to work 12 days straight. gently caress the Army.

Have you thought about just short timing it like gently caress? Show up late, leave early, take your weekend anyway and when asked point at the retard, tell them that's his section. What are they gonna do, fire you? I've seen people too incompetent to have a rifle, who then had their rifle taken away before crossing the LD get taken into the shooty part of a war. You'll be fine, just tell them your cac or e-mail is down. Live the peter principle. It is almost impossible to get fired in the military. You have to kill or rape the wrong people. Even then you're not garaunteed jail time or loss of benefits. Steezo fucked around with this message at 20:49 on Jul 9, 2018 |

Three deadlift reps in five minutes? You might as well just do it once if that’s your timeframe.

You do three to catch the people with spinal injuries who have a 1 in 3 chance of blowing their backs out. Kidding aside, if the standards aren’t nuts, every one of these events is less horrible to me than 2 minutes of sit-ups. But it’s going to make PT tests and test prep a nightmare, just from an equipment perspective.

There's a lot of skinny little dudes around that will never, ever, be able to lift 420. Give it a few years and no one will be able to lift 420. Someone will get the bright idea of doing deadlift reps to counts like it was the loving bend and reach, and now everyone is a cripple.

More like if you cant do 420 instead of one of the lower weights or whatever it is, you're a piece of poo poo on remedial pt and you're gonna have to get in on the steroid club and buy them from one of the weird e6s in your unit

not caring here posted:There's a lot of skinny little dudes around that will never, ever, be able to lift 420. I'm assuming it's going to be based off height/weight. Genderless standards are going to be the interesting part. The difference between a 5 foot 8 inch dude deadlifting and a woman is pretty freaking massive. Same with running with two 40 pound kettle bells. lol

If deadlift scoring maxed at some rather high number, you absolutely know it would increase injuries due to prickwaving or commanders/CSMs demanding tip top scores.

As long as you have ok form, warm up first, familiarize yourself and ramp up the weight incrementally they're fine. So yeah, there's going to be a lot of hernias

You're not gonna blow a disc from heavy poo poo, you're gonna do it loving around with some light warm-up weight because you're not taking it seriously. Been there, done that.

Pt will consist of running to the gym across post, everyone doing a bunch of deadlifts, and running back. Broken knees and backs simultaneously.

you're gonna run there with their kettlebells because A: they're on your hand receipt, B: the gym doesn't have enough for everybody, and C: shows heart

# ? Jul 10, 2018 06:15 |

Even though deadlifts will be decided by height/weight, units will determine an unofficial standard (just like 270 on the old test) and hold everyone accountable to that standard if they want any sort of favorable action. More than one person will end up blowing out a disc because they wanted to go to the board.

This S3 CPT is a loving liability holy poo poo. It's absurd that someone with almost a decade in the Army is so awful at their job. Idiot sent out a timeline after everyone had left that had a hit time the next morning before anyone had checked their email. He doesn't do anything illegal or unethical and passes APFTs so there's nothing to do about him. The Army is stuck with him until he gets passed over for MAJ. I think I'm going to call him out about his FRAGORD not having a corresponding OPORD.
