Gonna say, even though he(?) fell off, 10:04 had some world-class braking going on. I thought that’d end with a dead dog but that bike came to a halt quick.
I like his reaction after coming off too. "I'll just take a tiny nap here... ok let's get up."

Some people get desensitized to crash videos, others become hypersensitive. This is about as bad a bike crash vid as I can tolerate:

I think they're entertaining when they're not obviously fatal. Lot of obviously fatal ones in the recent episodes though.

Sellout, he's padding the videos with Chinese/Russian bloodspray carnage when all we want is Muppets understeering off of gentle turns.

i watch the no prisoners videos sometimes as a learning tool but after a while everything just breaks down into (1) washed out on some poo poo in the road (2) riding too fast/being a moron or (3) china

i personally prefer friendly motorcycle videos

As Alexei Sayle points out, finding entertainment in stories of horrifying crashes is just part of being a biker.

Yeah, haven't had time to watch vol 2 but 2018 vol 1 had a couple of places where I just wished I hadn't watched. Like at least two crashes where the clip doesn't cut out until you've seen someone cradling a clearly seriously wounded or dead loved one.

Couple of things I noticed from that new video. It might just be cognitive bias on my part, but it seemed like the ATTGATT warriors tended to have less dramatic crashes overall. Like, if you were watching someone gently caress up at the gentlest of turns, get target fixated and run wide, often they were wearing the gear. But the ones where they are doing some stupidly dangerous maneuver or just weren't riding safely tended not to be wearing leathers, or even helmets, or were in Asia.

Also 1:06:15 is an object lesson in always wearing a full faced helmet. Some guy makes a stupid decision, falls over and his head lands in the path of a truck's back wheels. Head gets completely run over, but the guy gets up and walks away because the helmet absorbed most of the damage. I'm sure he probably ended up in hospital not long afterwards, but watching him stand up and walk was amazing. I was sure he was dead. The helmet was so crushed the chn guard snapped and he slid his head out through the front of the helmet. Looked like a folded wallet.

The only ones that made me properly angry were the hit and runs. Those people should be hanged if caught.

ATTGATT probably also comes with it people riding a bit closer to their skill envelope.

That one with the crushed helmet was crazy, the foam did it's job.

I wish there was a China/Russia filter on the videos. I mean, it's good for some analysis but eventually you know those wrecks are due to a lot of poor decisions in areas with dangerous traffic patterns. I.e. riding a bike in Russia = dangerous. Riding a bike in Russia, sans gear, speeding, while splitting lanes = suicide.

It's wrecks in developed nations, especially America I want to study. I want to learn from the video, not enjoy morbid scenarios.

I want to believe it's a tiny reverse-geared tire inside the "swingarm" pushing the rear wheel in the opposite direction.

Not completely sure. I was riding it home from work and It started stuttering and surging as I got into my neighborhood.
I stopped at a stop sign 3 houses away from home and it died. Tried to start it back up again and it just burst into flames.

My best guess is a fuel line came loose or something.

For the record I didn't stop right away to look at it because it was 4 am and my neighborhood doesn't have any street lights so I wouldn't have been able to see anything anyway.
Figured I would try to limp it home to the garage where I could actually see what was wrong. Didn't think the thing would explode on me
