Concerned Citizen posted:extreme levels of hyperventilation itt While it's still very doubtful that Crowley will either win or cause AOC to lose, I feel like there's a considerably bigger danger from him staying on the ballot than there'd normally be in a situation like this, simply due to him being the incumbent and a well-known name. I'm not sure how the primary electorate compares with the general one in that district, but it's not impossible that a bunch of people could look at the ballot and say "ah there's Crowley, I'll vote for him like always" without noticing he's not there as the Democratic candidate. cenotaph posted:I felt like I was forced to vote for Hillary because I'm afraid of losing my medicaid and I'm in Pennsylvania. I also voted for Sanders in the primary but voted for nobody in the general. I drove my girlfriend to the polls and she voted for Stein. I almost got out of the car for Clinton but remembered that I live in South Carolina and figured it wasn't worth the gross after effect I would feel.

I voted for Hillary (lol) in Tennessee (lol^2), and vocally expressed my displeasure that she did precisely gently caress all to earn it. Still got to track down a couple of shitheads on Facebook and tell them exactly what they can do.

What gets me in the lanyard defence of Crowley is this idea that somehow a solid blue district can't go independent if there's a powerful enough DLC-friendly machine trying to ratfuck someone. The 06 election was just 12 years ago.
