I remember a couple of years ago, HBO had Normal Heart and Philadelphia playing back to back and that was a loving rough afternoon watch.

HBOGo might still have And The Band Played On up. It was that TV movie from 1993 about all the groups working to figure out just what the Hell the HIV virus was and their efforts to fight it. Everybody was in it. Richard Gere did a part that was literally like, five minutes of screen time, that’s how big the project was to a lot of people.

That was a rough watch, particularly the parts with the Gay community and when they realize blood transfusions were spreading it.

I can actually only remember one scene in one episode where there a focus on her feet. The rest of the time she ran around in combat boots:

In one of the commentaries (where the shot is of Glau's bare feet) Whedon flat out says "If the Serenity is the 10th member of the crew, then River's feet are the eleventh."

Great seeing a couple refugees from Longmire show up in Queen of the South this week.

While Zahn McClarnon had a much more prominent role in this season of Westworld it seems like he's going to be sticking around this show for a while.

A Martinez seems like he won't be as recurring but it's great to see him show up in something again.

I never watched The Strain, but there's one thing I know: No matter how lovely the show or movie, Kevin Durand will always deliver something enjoyable in a performance. He's already in a ton of stuff, but he should be in even more stuff.

If he did a silly accent even better.

I loved his very short stint on the criminally underwatched Trial and Error. The episode where he's on the stand they reveal he faked being in a coma and then tries to run away falls and actually ends up in a coma is fantastic. And I don't think he says a single word during that scene.

Yes. That show was too good for this world. Man what a cast too. Jeffrey Donovan, Vera Farmiga, Kevin Durand and then you had Bradley Cooper and Pruitt Vince (another actor that's in everything but should be in more) showing up for several episodes.

Yeah. It just picked up a really bad rap from people online because people were running it into the ground. Napoleon Dynamite had the same thing happen, except it totally deserved the bad reputation because that movie loving sucked.

When I started college, it was the heyday of Chuck Norris ‘jokes’. My senior year of HS was the ‘WHAT?! OH-KAY!’ poo poo.

poo poo got real old before it even peaked in its popularity.
