Six of us and the dogs went for a swim while the farm head took pictures. I was floating toward a tiny rapid and it was great. So a long, long while back I decided I needed to lose a lot of weight. I've had some ups and downs since them, but I finally reached my target goal recently, and was hoping it was cool if I bragged on myself a bit here, with my weight when I started a few years ago, vs what I am now. Speaking of celebrity lookalikes, when I shave I look like Richard Hammond (old photo, obviously): Getting an eye exam and glasses Tuesday. Thinking of something like this for the frames (also old, from back when I had a job that required me to be clean-shaven):  (Reading glasses I bought on a whim just because they looked good on me.) Edit: now when I shave the beard but not the mustache, I look like a guy from a '70s cop show. Can't find the relevant photo, unfortunately.  Went to my father-in-law's farm and helped vaccinate calves. He had a cat show up one day. Said cat decided he liked me. I'm also shocked by how much weight I've lost since that loving nasty throat cyst got drained. That whole situation seems so unreal now. I'm down 10 pounds in the last month and I'm guessing minimum 40 total since March, likely more. Every time I see myself I'm shocked. Don't crush your thyroid, kids!
