SRM posted:The box is just a standard Reiver kit, and the text in question is just an example Kill Team. I don't think there's anything more than that out there yet. But if they're limiting factions to 6 data sheets (as the announcement seemed to be saying) that's at least 2/3 of them accounted for?

I've been waiting for Kill Team, but they're saying you can just play with the book and that's it if you want. We'll see....... ... I don't want to buy those goofy rear end starter boxes for some cardboard.

The little starter boxes have some terrain and a card with rules for it, so you can use the servohauler for something, a squad, cards for that squad in a certain configuration, 6 tactics cards for that faction in that box only, and six other tactics cards for that faction. If you don't collect that faction, you can totally skip it. We don't know if you need to play using the tactics cards at all, or if there are a set of generic tactics cards you can just use instead. But it looks like every faction gets 12 tactics cards.

FW has finally put Bugman up for general release so I looked up his rules in Blood Bowl. They're kind of great: I really like that he has different stats and rules for the second half to represent him being drunker and more belligerent.

Yeah, from the first announcement on, it was pretty obvious that army building would be closer to Heralds of Ruin than to SWA/"we slapped this together over the weekend, hope you like moving these dudes from one unit individually" kill team.

Yeah, I was worried about it going in with the name Kill Team, but it feels more like SW:A 2.0 with the name kill team rather than Kill Team 2.0.

I'm not too keen on the Kommando figures - I think I'll just sculpt some eye-patches and bandanas on some Boyz, maybe paint crude tiger-stripe "camouflage" on their faces. All I'll need otherwise is a pack of burnas/lootas and a box of grechin.

Excuse the terrible photo edit: Guess I've incorporated Stormboyz bits too. My favourite one is the Ork with the sniper rifle.
