When your programming says 2x1 @ 90%, 6x3 @ 85%, 6x3 @ 65%, probably don't do 8x1 @ 90% because it feels light and you want to figure out form stuff. Those were the hardest reps of my deadlifting life at that 65% weight.

My knees feel like they're all bruised inside. Maybe doing 5/3/1 squats twice a week and supersetting it with cleans and junk wasn't a great idea for an old natty like me.

Some guy at my gym decided that the smith machines were "facing the wrong way," so he took all the weights off of one, beckoned to a friend and they decided to turn the thing a full 180 degrees.

I guess he didn't know that you can approach a smith machine from either side.

Don't do 60 pullups less than 24 hours before you need your grip strength for deadlifts

I'm still trying to figure it out. I'm teetering between the two. I mostly just eat a lot of chicken. And I stopped eating lowfat dairy while bulking and then kinda didn't stop bulking. I'm on the dreamer bulk right now (aka get real fat, make little progress), but I need to put the brakes on it.

Eggs seem fine, but I've never tried egg protein.

Pea protein is maybe risky for me because labels don't disclose vitamin k content. I don't know if there is any. I am on warfarin and have a prosthetic aorta valve so if there is lots of vitamin k that'd be pretty bad.

If I mix a scoop of whey with whole milk it's not so bad, but whole milk has a lot of kcals so it limits what I can consume during other parts of the day.

I actually really like whey+water and it scratched the baked goods/junk food itch for me. Cutting it out of my diet has not gone well and is part of why the bulk has been going on for 8 months and counting.
