For the record my guess is Valaran Mengsk, but I have no idea what they'd have him do - I don't remember him fighting at all aside from like commanding a battlecruiser. A global Abathur type hero might be interesting

One of his abilities creates a temporary, unpassable wall and he can drink a bunch of potions at level 1 to spam the ability and block creeps from ever reaching the enemy so they're starved for xp/gold.

Yeah I haven't played in years. But I assume if something is deemed too busted for DotA then it for sure is too busted for HotS. Not that the door hero was a serious suggestion to begin with.

I don't know who Imperius is but I didn't know who Yrel was either and I play her all the time now. I basically don't care about who any of these people "are", I care about what they do in the game.

i hate the circlejerk and he's a very boring character so i agree. But tbh the only two characters I'd even care about at this point are Duran and naga sea witch, we're sort of getting to the point where we'll be adding characters i dont care much about regardless.

Yeah but Yrel is at least the first Draeni character in the game and is also a big part of the WoW story recently, whether people like her or not. Imperius is barely in the game and looks a lot like Tyrael with a helmet, but people are poppin boners over him for some weird reason. His listed abilities outside of a silence have all basically been given to Tyrael as well.

This is why I essentially don't care if they start adding original characters. To me, there's really no difference between the dev team developing their own character and the dev team having to salvage some terrible third-stringer from the awful SC2/D3 campaigns and turning them into a hero. I mean Dehaka is one of my favorite heroes, but they pretty much radically redesigned him to the point that he has almost nothing in common with the character from Heart of the Swarm.

hey he has a spear. that could lead to something creative gameplay wise. Cassia throws them, but I assume Imperius would actually hit people with it directly. Zoltun Kulle needs to be an announcer and I can't believe i didn't realize this sooner.
