Progress and DEFY are doing a double header in Seattle on August 9th and 10th. Here is what DEFY has announced for their line up for August 10th in Seattle: Ravenous Randy Meyers vs Jimmy Havoc SCHAFF vs WALTER Brody King vs Pete Dunne Moustache Mountain vs The Amerikan Gunz Randy Meyers is over and a fairly good wrestler on top of that. His match against Janela is one of the best live matches I've seen. SCHAFF is a big, strong, chunk of beef and perfect for WALTER. The Gunz are a Buddy Murphy trained group (I think they both train other wrestlers now, Ethan HD is a trainer at Fale's dojo) and aren't a bullet club ripoff but more of an early 90s urban gang vibe. They're good and can keep up with The Lucha Bros, so that should be a good match. It's unfortunate that I'm in D.C. that weekend because it seems like a hell of a show.

Is CMLL ballsy enough to have an overturned gently caress finish on the 3rd fall? They've done it before where they have the Athletic Commission Rep wave off the ref and restarts the third fall. The heat would be nuclear but you risk burning the crowd out before the real finish

I don’t know about short on money, it’s more that Park is 52 and he heard about Wagner getting a quarter mil for his mask last year. Why not get that much when you don’t have that many of your best athletic years left. Then again, people always say he’s very ugly under there so it won’t be a Daddy Wagner situation in that respect.

My own assumption is Park is winning and they'll try to get another year or two out of it. Rush has never lost his hair and has the most valuable hair in the business. Normally if I saw legendary mask vs hair I'd assume the hair is being cut. But in this case Park is getting up there, saw the price Wagner got and thinks now is the time to cash in.
