The most messed up part about Yachts is they sit unused in the harbor or in storage all the time, we should nationalize them and you can check them out like at a library provided you have training and enough people with you to make it reasonable (depending on size of boat).

When I was in high school one of my friends worked for a "yacht rental" company where you could sign up to do exactly that, basically Borrow A Boat whenever in exchange for a monthly fee The company went bankrupt after a couple years because rich as gently caress assholes kept getting drunk as gently caress and trashing / wrecking the boats -- since it wasn't their boat, they didn't care about not destroying it -- and after a while they got bankrupted by the boat insurance fees.
