He's looked good on the ice but hasn't hit his stride yet. If he can turn his shooting luck around he'll be a monster but I don't know if it's luck or shot location with him. Could be a breakout year but also it's Montreal.

I am in actuality probably going to end up doing Ovechkin-Wennberg-Smith Forsberg-Bjugstad-Arvidsson Athanasiou-Zetterberg-Miller and if Bjugstad decides that he really just can't be a center, I'll move him down to 3C to work it out on a division of labor line, and call hank up... Ovechkin-Zetterberg-Miller Forsberg-Wennberg-Arvidsson Athanasiou - Bjugstad-Smith .... because I want Miller to learn under his wing and maybe actually be a center... and them doing that on the 3rd line is rad as heck because if I could limit Hank to only like 25% of the ES minute distribution to let him focus his energy on PP/PK, then he's the best 3C in the league and my captain and let me have this. I honestly tried to land Hank as the 3C special teams specialist last year and settled for Barzal in some late rear end round My hope is to be a 9 total goals per game team that plays wide the gently caress open fast fun hockey as it should be, and if (when betch) they manage the playoffs I'm gonna roll out the Ovechkin-Zetterberg-Bjugstad Forsberg-Wennberg-Arvidsson Athanasiou-Miller-Smith and this is all a sim so I'm gonna live over here in theoretical hockey utopia edit: Forsberg-Zetterberg-Arvidsson-Ovechkin-Widejegren PP1 get in Teemu Pokemon fucked around with this message at 07:46 on Jul 27, 2018 |

He said he was going to play. He makes actual money this year (next year he doesn’t). And old and busted guy still played 82 games last year and scored 56 points. Not that busted yet. Alfy played into his 40s. Hank could if he wanted to.

But the injury/age stuff isn't just a ruse to cover for him retiring next year. He's done a good job changing his playstyle but I feel like he could lose it at any moment given his injury history.

Good morning. I select Ryan Spooner who in real life never quite got a chance beyond the third line in Boston, but did pretty well when he got his chances, and thrived after being traded to the Rangers. Unfortunately for him, it's back to being a third liner in my fantasy team, but I will switch him to his natural position (center) and move Strome to LW. He's currently a RFA but I don't think he'll be prohibitively expensive. Pacioretty-Kuznetsov-Marner van Riemsdyk-Stastny-Nyquist Strome-Spooner-? Krug-Carlo Theodore-Nutivaara Schneider
