I've never understood why people that can't afford our stupid medication prices don't just buy their pills/injectables online from Canada or Mexico. My old roommate had a couple prescriptions that would cost almost a grand to fill in the states, but he would order his stuff from other countries, and pay less than a tenth of what he would pay here. Short of not having access to the internet or just being legit indigent with the inability to pay, is there some law that doesn't allow Americans to buy medications from other countries? Even if there is, what are the realistic odds of getting caught?

But he keeps on trying to appeal. The only thing that matters really is registering as a sex offender and surely he'll still have to do that even with this defence.

Reasons being questions of quality, legality, dealing, lobbying, etc. Most people don't want to risk jail.

Every year I have to go to the doctor so they can refill my annual prescription for asthma medicine. For me to be able to breathe I have to pay ~$200 for my Flovent every month or two and ~$30 for my Ventolin. That's after I pay the $200 for walking into my doctors office, getting weighed, getting my blood pressure read, and blowing into a tube to confirm that my asthma, that hasn't changed since I was 8 years old, is still there. That's all after insurance. Me being able to breathe is basically a car payment every month.

Yeah, love this bitquote:He has taken Clindamyacin, Ivermectin, a steroid dose pack, and Albenza which cost $1356 for 6 pills (yes that is with insurance and yes I had to pay it!). But you can get them for $0.30 per pill in Honduras. Thank you, FDA. "Gubmint!"

This is why Publix needs to be nationwide. Certain medications are free for hypertension, diabetes, some antibiotics and other random stuff. Publix is doing a good thing.

Maybe they were hoping for a licensing agreement from theaters or something? The flaw in their plan was that theaters could just do the same drat thing, only they're not buying their own tickets at cost.
