I tapped out there, I could see where this was going.

Same but a book I got in a scifi collection called "Enders Game" Page after page of naked children in the showers described in detail. I had to google it to see if the author was in prison or at least publicly ridiculed. Turns out it had even been made into a movie with Harrison Ford in it no less Worst book I ever read. And I've read Atlas Shrugged.

Who What Now posted:Wait, what? The normal reactions of arousal are still present in vampires, made possible by venom-related fluids that cause tissues to react similarly as they do to an influx of blood. Like with vampire skin—which looks similar to human skin and has the same basic function—fluids closely related to seminal fluids still exist in male vampires, which carry genetic information and are capable of bonding with a human ovum. This was not a known fact in the vampire world (outside of Joham’s personal experimenting) before Nessie, because it’s nearly impossible for a vampire to be that near a human and not kill her. https://stepheniemeyer.com/the-books/breaking-dawn/frequently-asked-questions-breaking-dawn/#pregnancy

Letting just anybody review things was a huge mistake. The offending cafe is in a village of 500 on a tiny island off the west coast of Canada that's only accessible by boat and sea plane. I doubt a single person in town gives a flying gently caress when Joe Tourist thinks they should be open.

It seems like people treat socialism the same way some religious people treat atheism- a belief system so utterly alien to theirs that they can't imagine it working. I figure this is because they can't really empathize with people they've already otherized. The people that don't share their own worldview are simply brainwashed, naive, immature, and lazy in their view. The fear about socialism seems to run very deep, down to a childish "You can't tell me what to do!" mentality. Ironically, these types are often Blue Lives Matter worshippers, that is until they are on the receiving end of that same brand of justice. Even then, they're so invested in their mindset it is easier for them to believe it was the cop that was corrupted, not the institution itself. Cops are Heroes, except the ones that don't murder flag burners, those cops are Traitors.

No, you really don't understand. The left cannot meme, not just because they are unfunny, but because they are trying to navigate through the Great Mimetic War with a map drawn by Hegel, and they are trying to win this Great War with a strategy devised by Marx. The left doesn't understand mimesis, because they approach it from a dialectical standpoint, as if things were really that cute and simple; as if the machinations of mimesis could be deduced a priori by a mind subjected to these very laws of 'reality'. Need we elaborate? I think not. I think anyone who conceives of reason alone as the sole force of justification for a theory this massive - this all-encompassing - must be some kind of genius. The left doesn't understand how to win this Great War, because the only trick up their sleeve is slave and peasant revolt. This technology of ressentiment is certainly a powerful one when wielded masterfully, but the left is stuck without an energy source for this weapon of mass depression. Why? Because we're already living in their utopia - or at the very least we have made successful strives toward it - and our nearing 'das Ende der Geschichte' certainly must be retarding 'der Dialektischeprozess' they claim is an actual thing (no really). 21st century America certainly has slaves - sex slaves to be exact - but I'm saddened to say these women are of no use to the left in this War. For some odd reason, they just don't seem to go viral unless Congress is trying to pass some new telecommunications regulation. Oh, well. Besides, focusing on the problem of brutal sexual exploitation is just distracting us from overthrowing the root cause - propriété, aka vol! 21st century America doesn't have peasants, it has paupers. Paupers can always rely on a good ol' English-style welfare state to keep them full of the essentials - booze, corn syrup, Pizza Hut, the works. Paupers have about this much in common (the rest - e,g, ethnic identity - is incidental). Peasants, on the other hand, are a direct creation of the nobility. The left can wield peasants because peasants necessarily have everything in common via their common class immobility. Paupers do not have this dilemma. Paupers have actual options, they just consequently revert to functional peasantry - hyper-accumulation of debt - because this is their actual nature to begin with. It is because of this that paupers cannot be wielded, and have never been wielded like Marx claimed would occur. Paupers have no 'Kollektivgeist', because they have the apparatus at their disposal - capital - that will deliver them from their stasis if they are cunning or fortunate enough to use it in such a manner. The left is without peasants. The left is without slaves (without useful ones, at least). And to top all of it off, ol' Georg Friedrich provides the left with no proper theory of mimesis. What is the left to do? How shall the left meme? In the 21st century, the only thing that resembles a 'capitalist class' - a nebulous concept if there ever was one - is either dominated by the left's own ideology, or (more likely) a fungible form of egalitarianism that acts as a functional equivalent in the western system. The great powerhouse of that very neoliberalism they claim to despise is just a more efficient producer of their ends than any number of Great Leaps Forward could ever be. They do not realize that if they were to actually seize the means of production, preventing complete cultural and economic disaster would require that very same transformation from Biolenin to Biostalin. Neoliberalism is the only thing keeping their ethics alive. The problem is always the same, it has never changed: the don't know where they want to draw the line, they just know they want it drawn somewhere else. Once they have gained the authority to draw lines, they understand that the line is not drawn arbitrarily, but to preserve the state, and so they redraw the line within proximity to where it once was in order to preserve the vanguard, touting it to the masses as a 'victory'. It's not enough to have liberal democracy. It's not enough to have bourgeois gay rights. It's not enough to "abolish slavery" by creating a leviathan state. No, we must rid our societies of property in its entirety... And... Then... Maybe privatize a few industries... For practical purposes, of course... Viva la Revolucion!... R-right, guys? My point here is that the left is actually operating at its full mimetic capacity right now. The neoliberal state is the only conduit by which their ideas will survive, even though they will never, ever admit this; even though they will argue unto death this is a strawman created by reactionaries, and that they - the champions of the proletarian - are the 'true' anti-establishmentarian. If they manage to win the war of flesh (a possibility, despite not having peasants and slaves at present time), they will eventually lose the war of ideas. Their ideas cannot create a society, not even a shithole society. Even a shithole society has property, and by extension hierarchy. The left cannot meme because they don't understand mind and they don't have ideas worthy of mind.

If these are seriously your ideas, there is a lot of abstract talk about being-able-to-meme, and the existence of a theory of mimesis and its absence on the left, so, okay, what is memeing as such?

Supposedly it's to be able to talk to people without taking your headphones off.
