His brother/agent told the media that the club informed the Higuain party that he's no longer in Allegri's plans. That's a bad sentence but you get it.

The more important part of this is that the Caldara - Bonucci swap appears to still be on. I will carry Bonucci to Turin for that deal, if this goes through that is a top,top transfer.

Between this and the news that Vidal is joining Inter, it's not a good transfer day imo

Inter look scary on paper and with Spalletti in charge they might actually do something. It's bad for everyone.

Yes, that is Anderson signing for a club in the Turkish second division.

Anderson was good for about five games, scored some crucial penalties and at least one very nice free kick.

I wish him all the best in his latest endeavour.

Same, but Vidal will still improve Inter. I thought that was basically a done deal based on what I read last night, but seems like that's not the case yet.

It does sound like Juve will hang on to Rugani, now that they're selling Caldara, which is good. Although there probably won't be many minutes for him, which is not good.

Maybe this changed by now, but the Spalletti I know was invulnerable in home games and abysmal in away games

Inter was falling apart home and away last season at the end, saved only by Icardi. I can't remember what the home/away record was at Roma, but Inter did seem much more comfortable at home when they were winning last season. We'll see.

I'm hearing Witsel had no medical on either Monday or Tuesday, though Dortmund is interested in signing him.

Didn't he manage a few minutes in the Coppa Italia final? I think he played against Milan at some point anyway. I remember when he came on and I had completely forgotten Juve signed him as well.

Feel like Pulisic is always talked about in terms of what he'd bring off the pitch rather than on it. No doubting he's a good player but I imagine a large part of that fee is based around the marketing benefits in America.

Yeah I've never noticed it. When I watched some european games featuring him on non-american TV his nationality was never even brought up. No doubt that's in someone's mind at whatever club is signing him but he's not some ultra american archetype like Dempsey or Donovan was.

Probably not in Dortmund simply because the German league just isn't as popular. But can you imagine an American player at an American-owned club, particularly one that is so popular in America as Liverpool? It would be wall to wall coverage and I have no doubt in my mind that Dortmund know that and know that if us (or really any English team) came in for him they would be able to get more money out of them.
