What happens is Bane has Catwoman's friend put doubts in her mind and says that by making Bruce Wayne happy she effectively kills Batman, so Selena leaves Bruce.

I really liked the variety of art in that book, though.

Popular culture has passed you by.
That Spiderman scene should have ended when Paul Giamatti opened up the Rhino suit to proclaim that he was the Rhino and a sniper took the shot.

I know this is supposed to read like "Tom King is a big dork who wants to buy action figures to play with" but it also kinda reads like "Tom King is at SDCC to assassinate someone and is using Twitter jokes as plausible deniability".

I wanted to semi dispute this by mentioning some truly terrible comics but then I remembered that comic fans bought them.

Just a comic shop buddy. Tom King has some great interviews on WordBalloon. Great writer, and a great dude.

This is from Sonic the Comic #129. The context is that Robotnik has used the Chaos emeralds to become all-powerful and transported Sonic 70 years into the future where he's old and infirm:

The rest of the sequence is pretty great and could probably fit in the touching moments thread. Croc decides that he doesn't want to do this in front of the guys, so he wordlessly proposes to Orca at the floor of the lake and they embrace while surfacing.

Knormal posted:

Yeah. He's one of Tom Taylor's pet characters in the Injustice comics who has nothing to do with the game, but he wants to write him as much as possible. Same with Croc, Calendar Man and Alfred.

Could that be.. Katana? (I don't know her name well, I don't read DC). Otherwise she's giving no thumbs up. (It is a big hand though.)

The Injustice comics don't get to play with the non-DC characters in the games, right?

I'm just checking because I'm pretty surre we don't live in a world where that series gets to bring in Hellboy and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, but I would really like if we did.
