Back when it was first releasing, there was this guy I talked to because we were both in the same club at university. So there was a girl in the same club that this guy liked and he was trying to convince her to go out with him (she wasn't sure if she should mainly because she liked him but didn't want to distract herself from uni stuff iirc) and she eventually decided to just go ahead and go out with him. They hit it off, they liked each other, though this guy was definitely pretty strange, like he'd say stuff like "You know, if I was forced to shoot someone, I don't think I'd feel anything" just brought up out of nowhere and that kinda stuff was just...

ANYWAY, so skyrim comes out and this guy is super excited for it. He goes, he gets it, and he plays it, and he is so utterly ecstatic about it that he gets his gf to play it and she likes it as well. He tells everybody he knows about how much he loves skyrim and how great it is.

Then he started talking about how he had skyrim sex.

His gf eventually broke up with him, I forget the specifics but I know one of the reasons was because when they'd have sex of any kind, he would need to be playing skyrim. Like, he needed the skyrim to be there, he needed to be playing it in addition to the sex because he didn't want to potentially miss out on time that could be spent playing skyrim. He was just absolutely obsessed with skyrim sex. Then he left after that semester and so did his ex-gf and idk what's going on with him now but I guess at least he isn't wanting for skyrim availability. Dude just has to find another girl that'll want to let him gently caress her while he games.

yakuza 1 combat, is not really comparable to modern yakuza combat at all at this point lol

hell, in yakuza 0 you get to be majima and do crazy breakdancing combos on entire clusters of dudes

Thinking TMNT theme is the way to go.
May end up going with a pedestal design for my first go at it, and a full cabinet once I'm comfortable.

Sometimes the translation gets a little rough, and you sort of have to cross your eyes to appreciate what's trying to be said. But I love how it's basically a collection of short stories: you go to a town and watch a five-minute tragedy, and you're off again.

Anyway, how are the sequels?

2 is good, but it's more of a straight JRPG. There is a focused plot, your party members still have tragic stories but they're just a bio you can read, the main character isn't exactly a Valkyrie. It also has a spectacular twist that turns the entire story up until that point in its head.

Wish I could replay it on my Ps4 because I never finished it despite getting to a point where places.

Edit: Yeah that's right. It was by TAJ Productions, according to this Wikipedia page that doesn't have an English version.

No, you're correct. Meowth's voice actress voices like half the characters in Valkyrie Profile 1, including Arngrim and Lezard. Valkyrie Profile 2 has an entirely new voice cast, though.
