I know that the taunts with Q did the defence-up. And I know that Dudley's was something to actually use, because that rose was actually a ranged option. What I'm unclear of is: Did the manual tell you about this sort of thing? And is it in the documentation given out now? Or is it still something you need to hunt down to learn?

It was more or less a hidden system in the same way as Akuma's extra supers.

Back in the days where Arcades were actually a thing, Capcom only released the info of obscure system mechanics to Japanese magazines like Arcadia. So non-Japanese audiences were basically left in the dark about a lot of important poo poo like that unless someone was nice enough to translate and upload the info to GameFAQs or MMCafe, or in the rare case where a Western mag actually had someone on staff that was in the know (like Sushi-X with EGM).

Cabs in Japan were products of the pre-economic bubble, you don't need sit down poo poo when you're putting cabs in 7/11 by contrast.

Sagat is fun but I doubt he's going to be that good in this game. He has nothing that would stop him folding like toilet paper against Cammy pressure, and for the style you're supposed to play him Guile and Menat are much better. G however is just loving weird and possibly very good.
