went to a tasting at my favorite liquor store, "funk fest", lots of sour beers, some interesting spirits, bunch of wine (didn't try much wine cuz idkwtf when it comes to that). tried some of this: https://finestroots.com/ kind of a greek grappa with other stuff depending on the variety. i bought a bottle of rakomelo, which is made with honey. incredibly good, tasted like autumn in a glass. the distributor/importer/whatever had a bunch of other things including an aloe liqueur that was surprisingly tasty, nice spearmint flavor in there somehow. and then laphroaig was serving pina colada made with their 10 year whiskey.  basically pretend your're drinking a pina colada while sitting right next to a campfire. it was weird.
