A sprained MCL isn't going to tank his season. Worst case scenario he is eased into the starting job while he gets practice reps in and has a sluggish start. If the hype is real and he is an NFL-caliber starter, I would think that should still be apparent within the first couple weeks of the regular season.

A sprained mcl is anywhere from 1-4 weeks depending on the severity. The season start is still 4 weeks away. He may get eased back in week one or two depending on how bad it is, but Chris Thompson won't be back yet and Samaje Perine is not gonna steal the job.

Yeah, this just confused the hell out of my number five pick. I think this drops him more than top five. I think Kerryon, Ronald Jones and Sony Michel are going to look too good to some teams. DJ Moore also crept up draft boards yesterday. Even with a rebuild, it's hard to use your first pick on a guy who won't play this year.
