I never thought of ETID as a band where people get crowd murdered in the pit but that's absolutely what comes to mind for Knocked Loose. They give me an On Broken Wings vibe in that sense. People always got knocked out at OBW shows. If they played with Black My Heart you needed to wear boxing headgear or something

But I understood the people who wanted another Augment. I think a lot of those people have come around on Drift though, in the time since it dropped. The sentiment on /r/metalcore, for example, was really divided at release, but it's now rare to see anyone there suggest that new ERRA is bad, even if they still prefer old ERRA. Old ERRA is good. New ERRA is good. Today's new ERRA is good.

This really has very little reason for me to post it here, but I'm going to anyways. Delta Sleep just came out with their new album, Ghost City: https://deltasleep.bandcamp.com/album/ghost-city It's not metal or core, but it's definitely mathy, and I actually originally found the band on a comp where everything else was technical metal. I'd say "math rock" probably fits it best, but either way, I dig the band. Maybe someone else will too.
