Hey Hashim, are the Imperialists going to immediately mobilize this time? Do we have to vote for the Royalists for maximum war readiness on land? If not, then I’ll admit that it might make more sense to keep building up our naval fleet since we’re still not at parity with the Moroccan navy yet. Colonial "liberation" (ie, releasing the colonies as independent nation states) reeks of nationalism, a bourgeois concept. The Socialist Party are just liberal opportunists, which probably explains why they're still legal and why they enjoy support of several trendy members of the Majilis class. Clearly the truly proletarian Communist Party would export the revolution to Africa instead of simply exporting the current system of exploitation to some local strongmen.

I have voted Moderate in every election up to now and i meant it. However, two things have changed my vote this time: 1 - Giving rich commoners the right to vote? This is anarchy and i will not stand for it! We need to reverse this sad decision immediately! 2 - This is our best chance in centuries to finally get the Strait of Gibraltar. Now or never! Ugh. As much as I think we need a beachhead to protect Qadis from Morocco, our political situation is too precarious and I don't trust the Royalists to preserve the rights and liberties that the Andalusian people have fought for over the last century. Barring some unexpected development, I think this is the last time I will vote for the Imperialists.
