Because just walking around isn't going to shift things around that much. To me, it looks like it was designed with sales to the military in mind. Ruining backs and knees with heavy packs is common.

I think the scariest thing about that backpack is that after a number of strides it'd probably start resonating and loving amplify until that bad boy just straight lifted you of your feet and you landed face down in the dirt.
