Megillah Gorilla posted:Yeah, those things are great. HR has these (well same/similar product but a different company) and they need to check/use them any time they change information on your profile (such as your password because you forgot about the 3-month password change rule). The security loses a lot of glamor when your buddy catches HR changing three people's password to the exact, same thing. I mean, to be fair they're supposed to be temporary passwords to get in and change your password to something else, but we all know they'll juse use that password from now on. It looks like this graphic (and IAFD) includes only "movies", as in titles that are published on DVD. It doesn't seem to include online work for websites such as Brazzers, Bangbus, DDF and so on, and I'm gonna guess that's a much much bigger market both in jobs and consumption.

Which accounts for the decrease of the words "boobs" and "butt" in film titles - fewer films are made. Same with the map of states - surprise, it turns out that more porn performers come from the more populous states. A per-capita index would have been somewhat interesting.

Our local IT used to reset your password to standard short phrase but the last time I called global IT support the guy generated a 12 character random password for me. In any case, this shouldn't really matter as you can and should require that the password is changed on next logon.

Yeah, that's the best policy, if you can integrate with LDAP or Active Directory, do it. If users have only one password to remember, you'll save a lot of pain.

Well, that and California being where most porn is produced, followed by Miami and a few other smaller hubs. I imagine there isn't a huge number of people that want to move across the country to do porn vs getting into the growing cam market. I think it'd be interesting to see a more global chart. I imagine if they weren't using an English language database that Japan would have broken the top 10. Cat Hatter has a new favorite as of 19:42 on Aug 20, 2018 |

Well it probably depends on what the local laws are like for that kind of content. Like it’s worth moving if the laws on pornography are draconian enough that even doing cam shows might get you arrested. Plus doing standard porn gets you a steady paycheck vs. working for tips.

I think the point is that people are more likely to do it if they're already there. You know like hey I need some quick cash and oh I'll just do one scene well hey that actually wasnt so bad! Guess I'll do some more. It isn't exactly a job that people happily move thousands of miles to pursue most of the time. Overall people prefer to not move if they can help it or if they do to not go far. That kind if limits you to nearby careers and the porn biz is mostly LA.
