I just spent the entire last page explaining why i think isolationism is bad. In fact, i don't even fully agree with the moderate position and do think we should take a more active role in the world. So if i would vote for any other party, it would be the imperialists, but the moderates have the best single package of proposals this time around, imo.

Oh look more failures are being proposed, the Moderates want us to be losers, no expansion ever, and the Socialists are even worse, they'd have us probably recreating some sort of Castillian state. Look if we want Andalus to be great we need to give more power to our dear Sultan,and recreate the Tirruni Empire. Moderates Hashim dropped a hint about the imperialists having a power base currently that they'll build on if elected, and the narrative has lots of hints that hardliner conservatives have a lot of power. I vote for a decade of incrementalism to please the narrative gods and lessen the impact of event-driven domestic opposition

Game mechanics wise, socialism is arguably the best choice besides maybe communism, depending on their military policy. On the other hand, voting in socialists makes no sense. The last time you folks tried something like this, you unironically passed a bill demanding max loans be taken out, and helped cause the complete dissolution of the Al-Andalus state.

Speaking purely re: mechanics, unless your country is some minority-majority situation where Full Citizenship is a must, the way to roll is a Constitutional Monarchy with a Fascist Party selected. You can easily just resist whenever they try their coup attempt to convert you into a dictatorship, and you can select whatever reforms you want to because Fascists will do whatever you tell them to do when they're in power. If someone else wins the election, just appoint the Fascists again. It's way mechanically superior to a dictatorship, too, because a dictatorship loses most of its political reforms, which will heavily lower your immigration attraction, which, in the Old World, means you'll start bleeding emigrants. Obviously, these calculations are different if you're in a heavily ethnically diverse country and Full Citizenship is a must, but Full Citizenship is basically the only edge Communists have over Fascists, and not all Communist parties have that. Some are Limited Citizenship or even Residency.

Socialists The only country that has an actual reason and is therefore likely to start a war against us is Morocco, and as we've seen, we're easily able to crush Morocco even when having to deal with a million angry Frenchmen and Russians on the other front, and next time they won't even have those but a tiny handful of Germans committing suicide by Pyrenees instead. A lack of alliances is therefore not a threat. Also we need those loving steam engines and railroads and we can get them without voting in some backwards dumbos, so the choice is simple.
