Tour sales are up, and touring is p much the only way for artists to get money nowadays. However there's a difference between Arena tours and your average act tour

Like sometime middle of next month I'm going to see Lupe in a place like this

A place like this sells out fairly easily, and you probably make a nice chunk of change as the rental and other costs involved in a place like this require way less tickets sold to make a decent chunk of change compared to a sports arena.

I'm actually kinda surprised, always thought he'd be the kind of dude to pull a Cecil Taylor and expect people to have to prepare for his concerts or something.

That's actually a decent enough setlist although I'm surprised he's playing the show goes on since that song is horrible and he walked back on it (and everything else on that album basically) but I guess it was a "hit"
