See, this is what I thought Hellboy Junior would be like. Instead, it's very little Mignola and mostly weird gross out poo poo like a big retarded duck who ends up in an incestuous relationship with its mom. Buyer beware, for real. No idea how Mignola was cool with it having Hellboy in the name.

Action Jacktion posted:He can. He can also read text on a computer monitor. I haven't seen this until now and now I'm intensely disappointed that Pinhead Kirby won't be a skin in the next Smash Bros. Anyway, no devil funny page can be complete without the Thunderbolts' adventure in Hell. Okay so long story short, there's this angel/maybe god/something called Mercy who that feeds on and/or is powered by people praying for death. Thunderbolt Ross (Red Hulk) coerced her into serving on his team (but it was really bad and written by Daniel Way so I don't really remember why). After coming to the realization that this lady is way more powerful than any of them and is a clear danger to... the world, they workshop ways to kill her and eventually decide they're just going to send her straight to hell. Like, without killing her, just straight to hell. So they recruit Ghost Rider to help cast a spell but it backfires and they all get sent there instead. While traveling around trying to find a way back they stumble onto Mephisto, who's no longer the king of Hell. SO ANYWAY, the team succeeds in getting Mephisto back on the throne, Mercy comes down, but everything backfires horribly for Mephisto because since she is powered by suffering, hell is her heaven. Also as part of the contract, Deadpool wanted to get a feather for a stupid pimp hat he found in an earlier issue. This is, it should be noted, written by actual Real Life Lawyer™ Charles Soule TwoPair fucked around with this message at 00:24 on Aug 28, 2018 |
