it is pretty fun, mostly slapstick alongside fourth wall breakers that often have visual humor to give them impact the key animation really kicks it up a notch whenever its time to give the gothloli a sadistic expression

a cartoon duck posted:It's a show I rewatch every couple years whereas I never really felt a desire to go back to Cowboy Bebop, so yeah. bebop i really like for certain episodes (I'll always love Speak Like A Child and Jupiter Jazz) but the main overarching story and almost everything about Vicious doesn't work with me and I fall off any rewatch. whereas I dont think I could tell you my favorite champloo episode, in fact they kinda blend together, but I love the whole journey and I come away thinking more fondly of those characters (God I love Jin)
