I suspect with a bit of work you could buy every 360 game worth playing that's ever been or will be on gamepass for a grand total of 60 dollars.

Yikes at people defending this and thinking it's a great deal that works out in their favor. There's always fine print and catch 22 to this that is hidden away. 2 year contracts with phones are always predatory and just a lease/loan on the phone, this is not going to be any different.

Don't be stupid with your money, if you can't afford this package in its entirety up front then you don't want to get it. Literally any sale on any part of it ends up a better deal.

But hey some people can't drop that all at once but can make $35 a month work. No shame in that.

I disagree with him, America blows and people deserve to be able to relax.

The "catch" is that they lock you into 2 years of both Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Gamepass. If you weren't going to use those services anyway, then obviously it's not a good deal for you. That's not what we're discussing here though. If you're someone like me who wants all of those things, it's a decent deal.

Maybe.... however, I’m feeling a little less of a ‘yikes’ about the people supporting Microsoft’s announcement in this thread, and a little more yikesy toward the people handwringing over and nitpicking it, and every other Xbox related announcement, consistently, every day, in multiple threads, for the last five and a half years.

So I don't know if it's something to really worry about, but the last couple of times I've turned on my Xbox it stays on for a second or two then immediately turns off. After another 10 seconds or so it turns itself back on and stays on for the rest of the time. Like I said, this only happens when I first boot the system, but I don't know if it's something that should immediately be taken care of or not. Anyone else ever run into this issue?

Directly into the wall. I saw the suggestion that if plugged into a power strip that it may be a loss of power from other devices plugged into the same strip.

Only if it's a cheap one, or you're daisy chaining power bars.

You aren't actually supposed to plug all electronics into the wall only, especially if they have to write things to memory. It's just a shortcut for tech support so they don't have to troubleshoot a dollar store power bar with you.

That's a pretty good list. Also just FYI I&S was the one that randomly decided to limit it to 360 games (I'm guessing because he didn't fully understand the concept of Gamepass and didn't bother to research it at all, thinking that it was simply a PS Now type of scenario and didn't include new games).
