I think an argument can be made for a lot of guys with that second pick.

Rashaad Penny - pros: first round pick. Great agility and acceleration for his size. Cons: Seattle offensive line. Might be a fatty boom ba latty.

Sony Michel - pros: first round pick, electric, big play ability. Cons: new England running back. Already had his knee drained once and the season hasn't started yet.

Nick Chubb - pros: strong north / south runner. Very good college player. Cons: crowded backfield. Also, plays in Cleveland.

Kerryon Johnson - Pros: might be the most talented back on his roster. Cons: that roster is a Lions team that is notorious for being bad at rushing.

Royce Freeman - pros: one of the most productive college players last year. Probably the best back in Denver. Cons: was drafted later than the other top prospects, so might not have as long a leash as them. Also, plays for a bad Broncos offense.

Derrius Guice - pros: no competition on Washington roster. Very good runner. Cons: might be a crazy person. Already missing one ACL.

Thanks. You've accurately captured my mindset on most of these guys. I think for me I'm leaning one of Penny/Chubb/Freeman but it's truly going to be a toss-up until I actually pick in about four hours :(

The Fantasy Footballers have been big on Kelvin Benjamin as a value at his ADP so you're not alone.

I can't get on board personally. The targets will be there but between Benjamin's separation issues, Allen's accuracy issues, and Buffalo's overall terribleness, I do not believe he will be a reliable asset. Strikes me as the sort've guy who will go off when it's least expected but when you actually think he has a good matchup and use him in your lineup, he puts up a dud.

Anyone ever done a FAAB price->Keeper round thing? If so what kind of calculation do you use?

I'm thinking something like $0 being 16th round, 1-10% of FAAB being 12, 10-60% being 8, 60-100% being 4

I was sitting in my office on that drizzly afternoon listening to the monotonous staccato of rain on my desk and reading my name on the glass of my office door: regnaD kciN

Just did a draft for an 8-man non-PPR league (I know, 4 people dropped out pretty much last minute, thus only 8 teams). Drafted from #2

QB / 2RB / 2WR / TE / Flex / SuperFlex / DST / K / 6 BN

1. Le'Veon Bell
2. Melvin Gordon
3. Julio Jones
4. Deshaun Watson
5. Tyreek Hill
6. Alex Collins
7. Drew Brees
8. JuJu Smith
9. Mark Ingram
10. Jordan Reed
11. Andrew Luck
12. Robby Anderson
13. Peyton Barber
14. Eagles
15. Tucker
16. John Brown

I feel like I did particularly well. Am I being overconfident that I have a pretty strong contender for the playoffs?

Father In Law's league - if you remember from last year it was the league I won but swear I was colluded against twice.

Either way it's typically easy money so I'm back again.

10 Team .5 PPR league

7th pick and it was a mad run on RB's so I went zero RB strategy for the most part first 3 rounds then poured it on at the end.

CBS requires you draft a K and D/ST or else I would have grabbed 2 more RB's.

2.4 Julio Jones, ATL
3.7 Rob Gronkowski, NE
4.4 Jerick McKinnon, SF

10 team 0 PPR, drafting 10/10. I think I started ok from who was available but then the beers got to me

1.10 D. Cook RB/Min
2.01 S. Barkley RB/NYG
3.10 J. McKinnon RB/SF
4.01 D. Baldwin WR/SEA
5.10 J. Ajayi RB/PHI (this is where it went downhill :britain:)
6.01 M. Jones WR/DET
7.10 C. Hogan WR/NE
8.01 M. Stafford QB/DET
9.10 R. Burkhead RB/NE
10.01 S. Watkins WR/KC
11.10 J. Reed TE/WAS
12.01 K. Stills WR/MIA
13.10 CHI DEF (pissed as a fart here, have already waivered Pittsburgh instead)
14.01 M. Valdez-Scantling WR/GB
15.10 H. Butker K/KC

Might be a bit lottery ticket heavy, there is a real reluctance to trade in this league and the waiver wire is quite heavily utilised so might be able to improve on people casting off poor performers in week 1/2

Draftboard for anyone who wants a laugh at a bunch of Brits who have no idea what they're doing

Dumbass in my work league drafted 4 qbs including Rodgers and Brees. His RB3 and 4 are D'Onta Foreman and Spencer Ware. He only has 2 WRs period.

I kind of feel bad for the guy since he's new to the league and is now just getting poo poo all over for his roster. As an Andrew Luck owner, would you try to make a play for Brees offering up one of Rex Buckhead (rb4), Peyton Barber (rb5), or Emmanuel Sanders (wr3)? Those are my 6th, 7th, and 8th rounders and Brees was his fifth. I feel like that's being pretty generous given his position.

I need to drop 4 guys for a D/ST, Kicker, Defensive Player, and Defensive Back.

I have someone looking to trade me a pick next year for Powell and White. DeVante Parker is an easy cut. That's three. Rivers seems like the obvious last cut, but I'm just worried about Ben's home and away splits.

If you want him invested in the season (and playing beyond) tell your guys to knock it off and give him some pointers.

I think Barber for Brees is equitable and he is going to need that RB2 potential with Barber.

You’d be doing him a favor but sometimes the spirit of the game is more important than straight out ruthlessness.
