I wonder if there's someone strong enough to kick a bear's rear end. I thought about this situation as a kid, and figured my best solution would be to climb up a tree and then fall on their head. If you can do it from an airplane, it'd probably be even stronger, cause you'd have several thousand feet of momentum. You should be fine.
