Shaders from certain sources give shards. It's not a lot, like 1 or 2 from each shader, but if you had hoarded shaders waiting for your chance to shard them in bulk like I did...

Hit an enemy with an arc ability to electrify them. Meleeing electrified enemies disorients them and generates ability energy.

Holding attack during arc staff deflects projectiles. Deflecting triples arc staff damage for a short time.

Voidwalker:

Melee has extended range and creates a void explosion.

Charge grenade to create a short range void blast.

Void ability kills generate health and grenade, melee and rift energy.

Nova warp: press to teleport and hold to teleport and attack.

Dawnblade:

Hit enemy with melee ability to burn target and empower you and nearby allies.

Charge grenade to drop a blessing that heals allies and drops an overshield.

Healing or empowering allies generates grenade, melee, and rift energy.

Super rift that empowers and heals.

Stormcaller:

Melee fires an arc projectile that releases a perpendicular bolt of lightning.

Defeating enemies has a chance to drop ionic traces. Picking them up refills ability energy.

Being critically wounded triggers an ability that increases you and your allies' speed.

H Y P E R B E A M: deactivate early to save super energy.

Sentinel:

Melee ability creates void explosion.

Void abilities attach a void detonator, which does AoE damage on further hits.

You and allies get health and grenade energy when detonator explodes.

Shielding in super gives a wall that buffs allies damage, buffing allies extends duration.

Striker:

Death from Above melee ability

Hitting enemies with ballistic slam generates super energy

Picking up ammo during a slide reloads weapon and gives bonus damage for a short time.

Missile Boi

Sunbreaker:

Throwing hammer that you can pick back up to recharge itself.

If you hit an enemy with hammer, picking it up regens health.

Kills with solar abilities increases solar ability damage. Stacks up to 3x.

Summon a flaming maul and crush enemies with the force of an earthquake.

All of these perks are unlocked by defeating enemies with abilities when you are on that subclass tree.

Is it actually up today? I thought it was meant to be Tuesday. I assume a lot of 'old' crap is still left over in the game that a newbie would have to learn to ignore?

Yes it is!!

So I have a massive OP going up right before Forsaken launches and well, let�s just say Bungo has been unfucking their game.

Yeah, it�s pretty excellent now and even the dirt rags out there are telling people to give the game a second look.

From clan chat, to more freedom with your guns and load outs and this brand new Gambit mode, the game is worth a second look.

Save your strength for all the news coming in the OP in a couple days.

Last tuesday was a big patch that updated a bunch of the game mechanics, but didn't introduce new content

today is a one day preview of the new pvevp game mode gambit

You can definitely start going through the story you haven�t done. Tuesday is when it�s game on but there is plenty to do to prepare.

i kind of thought all of those talking head pieces about how Gambit was amazing and all that was hype, but it really is loving great. it's probably one of the most interesting things to happen in an fps gamemode in a long time.

It's super loving fun, especially for someone like me who's never been that into PVP but can enjoy a little sprinkled in here and there.

I can't decide if I'm looking forward to trying Destiny PvP in my more natural environment of KBM, or dreading facing others in their natural environment. New game mode sounds fun though, reminds me of Titanfall 2's Bounty mode which was great

How's the ultrawide (21:9) aspect ratio support in this?

(e) This is like last time where I'm locked to my chosen class but everything else (subclasses included) can be done on one character, right? Gotta be Warlock in that case

I don�t have an ultra wide monitor but Google tells me they work great with this game. There�s a lot of settings you can tweak. It�s a fantastic port.

If you want a large blocker, you pretty much have to be feeding motes to one person. A few goon games I did, we had one guy doing nothing but running around gathering motes and he was repeatedly able to drop a large blocker by the end of the first wave.

I tried running bubble w/ saint-14 helm a bunch of times earlier today and it's really difficult to get a good one off on their bank without dying to sleeper the entire length of the map away.
