in lol mdl news ESEA banned Effys and Cardiac (really old people) for a year for throwing MDL matches. Stronglegs, the commentator, has been banned/cut from MDL too although the post is a little confusing on if it's because he knew about the throws or if it's just because he was betting as a caster which valve doesn't want

It was someone at GG.Bet that informed ESEA what was happening and StrongLegs somehow got caught up in it as well. He and effys do have history together, but according to SL there was bad blood between them, so who the hell knows how it all came about. It doesn't make it any less stupid, though.

Feels like the average game in eu the coms are less clogged and chaotic with people mostly just infoing and maybe saying one line things. Probably because you have to do it in english and for most people it's just not worth trying to talk poo poo in your second, or third, or fourth language (obviously there are exceptions). That doesn't really save you when you end up with a team of guys from russia and ukraine deciding to talk things through during the game though.
