Yeah, I like the head and I like the idea of using monstrous scything talons for limbs (is the base model a Trygon under all of that, do you think?) but that’s about it.

None of these comparisons make any sense. The Confederacy was a gentlemen aristocracy living on slave labor plantations and used racist and religious arguments to justify themselves. Skaven don't justify poo poo to anybody and plot world domination from inside a goddamn sewer. They're a conspiracy theory come to life.

My philosophy is "models and rules outweigh the fluff" and skaven slave units in the game (well, WFB anyway, I don't play AoS) are armed and autonomous. A few guys have chains and whip sores but there's no slave drivers. The slaves still get all battle standard bonuses and the general's aura. You don't go to war outnumbered by your own slaves. They play and look more like penal battalions.
