to get in the mood for this weeks costal annihilation some recommended book reading is The Water Will Come it’s more how Miami is super hosed, but it was a great read on how flooding + super storms are just going to drown out the coastal cities and how we are woefully underprepared poop filled floods basically

It's not Cat 5 yet that one dropsonde supports a gust speed not sustained. NHC would probably go with around 125kt presently, need 135 for Cat 5.
