and oh yeah, another thing, it's pretty hard for Bernie to pull the TRUMP in midst of 17 candidates thing because democratic primaries are not winner-take all so Trump keeps on getting 100% of the delegates with 25% of the votes in a whole bunch of states in 2016, optimistic case is Bernie having a floor of 25-30% (so Trump 2016 primary level) vote but that gets him 25-30% of the delegates even if the 16 other people are all getting 5% each Also ironically 2020 Democratic superdelegates are actually more influential than 2016, because they only really matter in a contested convention with no one having 50% + 1 anyway, a 17 or 25 way race with proportional delegate allocation is exactly how you get a brokered convention. Pretty hard to get a brokered convention with only 2 real candidates like in 2016.
