The whole concept of redpilling is just telling out of shape nerdy antisocial losers that they are secretly the most awesome and amazing people ever and everyone has just lied to them their whole life. That's basically the plot of the first Matrix movie. Also, just cause we're on this derail, that movie has one of the weirdest heroic sacrifice scenes ever, where a character pulls out dual automatic shotguns, unloads into a group of SWAT cops, doesn't manage to hit a single one, and then gets shot and dies.
