Everything about the Joker movie should throw me off. I really can't stand Phoenix as an actor, the idea of a Joker movie seems really stupid. But a part of me hopes that it can be some kind of gritty 1980's crime movie and then I will be there opening night.

The Rider is a movie I watched completely at random and no idea who anyone in it was, but it was really loving good. This is another example of Marvel just picking a director that is a really good storyteller over a name. Watch The Rider.

The Eternals seems like an interesting direction for the movies to go. Lots of cool-looking Kirby visuals you could get from that. Will be interesting to see this and Ava Duvernay's New Gods movie develop in parallel.
