I can’t believe he’s been their radio guy for nearly 30 years now. Between him and Herb Score, they have a chain going back to the early 60s!!! I used to love hearing WTAM in the oddest places. I grew up listening to Indians broadcasts on it, and almost anywhere I traveled east of the Mississippi I could pick it up on a clear night. I hit it as far south as central Florida sometimes, and even as far west as Minnesota. Pretty sweet to hear the Indians pre-game show as you’re parking at the Metrodome

Ya’ll must be really old or really young because when I was growing up it wasn’t WTAM, it was WWWE (3WE).

And I believe the play by play guy from WUAB is now the PBP guy for the Colorado Rockies and has been for a good 20+ years. Anyone remember his name? Jack something maybe?

I remember when I was a kid in the 80s my dad would watch sometimes the games on WUAB and listen to Herb Score on a shortwave radio headset.

It’s touch ‘em all time, baby!! He and Jim Hegan did games for a long long time. Once Sportschannel came along and bought the exclusive contract, Corrigan left for the Rockies and Hegan teamed up with Tom Hamilton on the radio. The radio side got the best duo ever, and the tv side was stuck with Rick Manning 🤮

Question, did the NFL end the special rules for the Packers and broadcasts? I know they at one point considered Milwaukee part of the "blackout" zone when it was a home game for preventing an opposing channel broadcast, but maps I'm looking at now have gotten rid of it it seems.
