He's a fourth rounder with a garbage offensive coordinator, a QB coach who has been playing in the NFL for maybe a year longer than him, and his backups went from QBs who have managed to win games in the NFL to....uh, Cooper Rush. Also  at the lack of any decent WR/TEs.Dak could very well be good somewhere else, or at least average. In Dallas he is absolutely going to fail. I embrace it. Hellfuck your own franchise, Mr. Jones.

I think we've seen enough to know that Dak is one of those QB's that absolutely needs to be surrounded by talent to excel. Some QB's can elevate their supporting cast and we haven't really seen that from Prescott. I like his game and like him in general but he really seems like he needs superior weapons. I wonder why they didn't bring in Eric Reid (the safety, not the nasal Miami Heat play-by-play guy). They had depth issues at safety even before the McLeod news. And now he's on the Panthers who the Eagles play in less than a month.

Mills is the guy people have talked about being a potential safety. The future CB lineup could be Darby, Jones and Maddox at nickel. But that feels like a fan solution and more likely they keep Mills at CB, play Graham at safety as you suggested, I guess. E: forgot about Douglas

But most likely Darby will be offered more than the Eagles will be willing to spend this offseason and Jones/Mills will be the starters next season. It would only really make sense if they saw it as a long term move for Mills because they had someone better at outside corner and I don't think they're ready to assume Rasul Douglas will be ready to start outside next year.
