Bacon is best when the meat is crispy but the fat is still chewy

If you make oven bacon, put down some parchment paper first and it becomes super easy to strain and save the fat for cooking.

Bacon should not be hard and brittle or limp and floppy. It should be firm, but pliable.

I use my cast iron griddle tipped slightly toward the grease gutter, and then pour the grease through a sieve into a bailed jar for cooking. I've been eating breakfast sausage mostly recently, so I'm running low on fat.

I use a broiling pan to make bacon. With foil in the bottom part it's very easy to clean up the fat.

I don't know. I'd at least give the bacon s'mores the benefit of the doubt. I'd cut down on the marshmallow and up the chocolate a little more, but I think it could have potential.

That peanut butter, jam, bacon and banana sandwich better stay far away from me. I would destroy that thing. Side note, if you ever find yourself at a place that serves a peanut butter burger, get it. Sounds horrifying, but is legitimately delicious. At a local chain, they let you build your burger however you want, similar to a Chipotle or Moe's type of place, but with burgers. The best combo came from one of the cooks who said: "peanut butter, lettuce, cheese, bacon, and just a little sweet thai chili sauce." My dude was 110% correct.

Bacon in everything as a food trend is kinda dumb. That being said I'd probably try all them bacony thangs what been posted on this here page, but I'm not too picky about food and I'm also pretty fat so Anything with the peanut butter/banana/bacon combo is probably a nod to the famed Elvis sandwich which was basically so delicious it caused him to eat himself into an early grave. So the appeal of that makes sense, just don't eat too many of em or you may die on the toilet from a heart attack some day!
