Hello space friends I miss homeland defense jabber and the forums. Not enough to start playing again, but close. I occasionally check out the influence map to see if we've retaken Deklein but no luck so far. Keep up the good fight, I have never not believed (and will never not believe) in you.

Hi everyone that remembers this old robot, I think I just rejoined for no good reason. I will probably keep up enough energy to get through auth and services and setup and check out EVEMon/pyfa/jEVEAssets or whatever and catastrophically flame out again. Colonel Rhombus is sitting in some Queef Company Warehouse in lowsec somewhere, I sent all my isk to someone to help new guys when I left. I honestly can't remember what my guys were training towards or can fly at this point. I feel like alts were working towards ratting Ishtar and maybe an Archon or JF or something.

is there any benefit to rerolling on my account from when i was a cringy teenager in 2006 or should i just start totally fresh my original character was an amarr guy that could fly battlecruisers so idk if it's useful enough to justify resuming if not, what does goonfleet need the most right now?

There is no reason to make a fresh character. If you dont like what your Eve guy can do, you can suck skills out of your head and sell them while you train up something else. Reinject them at a bit of a loss, or just train new stuff and leave your other skills alone for when they later become good.

35m is peanuts, but to suck out skill goo you need skill extractors which you can buy with real money or eve money. They cost more than you have in eve money so if you go that route see if someone will toss you one. Right now Extractors are about 350m in jita. You can use them remotely so you only need a Jita alt to buy and sell on the market, if your other characters will skill points are elsewhere that's fine. Once you extract your skills, you can sell them for about 700m isk in jita. They remove 500k skill points down to a minimum of 5m. So if you have 6m SP you can use two extractors. So if you got the skill points, all you need is 350m to start and with selling one injector you can pay that person back and still buy another extractor to keep going. If you havent played in a while and your pod has no valuable implants, don't bother flying. Wait until your application comes through. once you're in the corp, you can set your clone station remotely (We can still do that, can we?) to 1DQ1-A and then just self-destruct. It will be faster & safer. If you can't do that, then I suggest you fly in with a Taxi Interceptor. Just buy an Ares or some other interceptor, fit it with hyperspacial velocity rig or whatever they're called, a few inertial stabilizers and as much tank as you can. Keep it's align time under 2s and it will be almost impossible to catch you.

A friend once gave me a character of his and I sucked out all I could without paying attention to what i was sucking out and in which order. It's now left with 5m skillpoint but can't fly anything or use pretty much anything. Probably worth deleting rather than trying to fix to be honest
