So Murphy Brown is back on TV now and there was a Hillary Clinton cameo apparently. It already feels old.

Flashpoint is a very solid B throughout the show. Plus it has Keith Mars/Mathazar so that should be additional incentive to give it a try.

So did anyone end up liking season 2 of Legion?

It's way more surreal and way less structured and I get the sense that most people didn't take to that. I loved it personally, overall I think it's better than the first season, but I can see why people weren't into it - it was much slower and more artsy and the choice they made with the main character in the last episode especially pissed off a lot of people, it seems.

I like weird rear end TV. So I thought Legion was great along with Twin Peaks season 3.

Bosch is about law enforcement but it doesn't feel right mentioning it in relation to the other shows people are bringing up for some reason. I guess because it's mainly focused on a single character instead of an entire precinct.

This is the first time since the original run that there's a good chance the sitting vice president will attack Murphy Brown for being an unmarried mother again.

If you are happy to accept non-US suggestions, Prime Suspect, Line of Duty, the first four seasons of Spooks and the BBC version of Wallander.

I was listening to an episode of the Thirty Twenty Ten podcast from a few weeks back and they suggested an answer to my longstanding question about how Murphy Brown was able to be a hugely popular and successful show but left a comparatively negligible cultural footprint, namely that it wasn't syndicated but ended up being hived off on Lifetime almost immediately after it ended.

Edit: I only learned yesterday that ReBoot was from the same production company that made Beast Wars.

I remember it being pretty topical and political, which seems like it'd be poison for syndication.
