i had a week off after my last deadlift and strongman meltdown. on monday i injected my first pin of test. went to the gym on tuesday and (so like, 10 days off?) did 5x12 SSB squats not heavy at all by my standards. went again on Tuesday to do some accessory stuff.

yesterday and today i am not exaggerating i cant walk. i got sent home from work last night because i couldn't stand up. i needed a ride to my car in a golf cart because i cant walk. like. literally cant walk not just sore legs. my hamstrings have shut down and my quads keep collapsing under my weight. so frustrating. so looks like im taking like 3 days off lifting again already. ive never had doms like this in my life and im no stranger to it.

between my sore glutes from being new to pinning and my.legs being completely fisted i am in a world of pain. miss out on strongman session tomorrow that i was really looking forward to. :(

well i eat those supplements every day. i follow a pretty strict diet. vertical diet. salmon and steak every day. i think i might have gotten a boost of confidence from the first shot test and just completely smoked my muscles after so long off. i was squatting those 12s pretty fast and explosively im usually a bit tamer with squatting

I make it through the easy gains, get to some intermediate programming, realize I’m fat as gently caress, start a cut, feel like poo poo, stop lifting and start eating even less, lose fat and muscle, and then start lifting again.

It’s a cycle I’m trying to break out of. Going to try to lift and not gain a ton of weight this time. Gotta learn to deal with the hunger I guess.

that way you're only lifting tiny baby weights while cutting

then switch to bodybuilding when you're done cutting since you're never gonna squat anything actually heavy anyways, not with that garbage spine

numbers are going up but weight is going down

I am displeased with this outcome as I am not trying to cut. I have cooked a large pot of beef and rice. I plan to feed from this pot at regular intervals in between meals this weekend. When I see the bottom of the pot I will create more beef and rice.

This is my lot in life.

Nice. I've lost about 20 lbs in 5 weeks which puts me back where I was in January. Of course I was still fat then. Hoping to drop another 20.

The cool thing about losing weight is everything becomes a new pr! Only pulled 455 for a double today, but hey, new pr at this body weight! Could only hit 265x3 on the bench, but new pr!

Gotta love the garbage spine club. I used to weigh 260 and could pull 405, but I think I hosed my back up getting there. I’m about 185 now and can pull north of 225, but when I lay in bed my low back feels loose. Like the vertebrae move away from each other. Had an mri done that showed nothing major going on so who knows why my back feels off all the time now. It aches sometimes and I get some relief by rotating my torso and popping it.

If I could lift consistently and not get discouraged I would be better at it. Hopefully I can stick with it from now on.
