I decided to check the nexus to make FO4 look a little better for my most recent Horizon attempt. Benign: Fix for Forsythia - brightens up the forsythia plant, also has a green version Malignant:  CBBE Innies - replaces the "outie" with an "innie" but they're not talking about belly buttons.

I hope it's okay to post this here, and...well, I guess I'm REALLY hoping this veers more into the Awesome side than Awful, but I'm almost done with a pretty large quest/companion mod for FO4 and just started the beta-testing phase. Behold. Somebody started to retexture Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines in 4K with all new lighting adjustments that together really make the game look ten years younger.           Unfortunately they also seemed kind of sensitive from what I've gathered and they felt their ego had been hurt so they ended up swearing off the community, saying they'll only come around to ask technical questions if the need arises but promising that work on the project will continue. He mentions Wesp freaking out on him about every little change and as funny and likely as that seems, looking through that thread I just don't see it. Dude said he wasn't gonna take his ball and go home but that's exactly what he did. It seems that they also shut down the only page the project was hosted at. What a waste.

The fact that the project was hosted on DeviantArt means it's quite unsurprising that the guy is over-sensitive and doesn't take feedback well.

the combat in VTMB is really not fantastic so having the entire third act lean really hard into it is a serious turn off for me. bach is a fun fight but everything after him is a boring slog of faceless enemies using one of the wonkier and more unbalanced combat engines of that decade. unbalanced here meaning "there's a gigantic difference in ability with just a few dots" with the implication being "if you don't hit those breakpoints you're in for a very bad time" same reason why everyone loathes the sewers really, though the final act of VTMB manages to be even MORE boring by not even having random files to pick up.

i just give myself some stat points and go to town whenever I get bored in the endgame. it does get dumb so just trivialize it to power through. I'd suggest that approach. I've done the whole thing legit enough, nothing to prove, makes it a better experience.

Your character supposedly is sleeping through the day but the game never really portrays it. (the first haven, funny enough, would be awful for a vampire with those fair sized windows.)
