I admit one of my posts may have provoked him more after he blew up, but  at him comparing me to Viggen (a person that literally had brain damage), and putting a bunch of words in my mouth that I didn't say (it's still doxxing IMO whether he agrees with the terminology or not, but his connection made to that vs. what I actually said is a stretch). I didn't even say he did a bad thing necessarily by what he did for Dave or in this case caring about another random stranger on the internet. Sheesh. A supply chain compromise like this IS a big thing because there's no way SM is the only manufacturer targeted - if they got compromised, everyone else got compromised as well (Yeah THATS a fun thought), let alone if the exploit is real, whomever did it it is out there and no doubt coming up with more exploits to hit other hardware.

I was THAT GUY in the neighborhood tonight. Went to the kid's softball game at 7:15, got back in the car an hour and a half later and a 20 psi tire warning came on. Babied it back the 3/4 miles/1.2km home and find this: Turns out I'm out of tire plugs, so a trip to the 24 hour Walmart is in order. Get home and run the compressor and impact gun at 10:30 p.m. with the garage doors open. It's still friggin' hot here (72°F/22.2°C with 96% humidity at 10:30). But gently caress 'em. One of my neighbors just sold his house, two invariably run their lawnmowers at 6:15 am every Saturday, and the other has been jackhammering his old driveway and building forms to pour concrete for two weeks while I have a new baby. gently caress 'em, I got lit up by mosquitos on top of it all and don't care about much. And yeah, it seriously looks like somebody drew a circle around the screw. Just weird. I'd say it was from turning on concrete but it was a rear tire. That super-shallow angle and small diameter screw made it a bitch to ream out, but at least extraction was easy--screwed right out. I'm gratified to note that it has a different pitch than the drywall screws I use for knocking together projects. I'm aware of the tires needing replacement soon. It's just what I need after all the hospital bills I've gotten. Fuckin' America, man.
